The Aviva Test Strips have a unique amount of electrodes. At 8 electrodes per test strip, the accuracy is amazing and more reliable as there is a higher number of confirmation responses sending information to your Accu-Chek glucose meter. All you need to apply is a very small .6 micro-liters to the Aviva Test Strip and you get results within 5 seconds. Very rarely do these tests fail or come back false, saving you money as your number of wasted test strips comes down to less. A study, "Kouber R. Home-use test strip utilization 2008" found the Accu-Chek Aviva to have the lowest wasted strips, over the OneTouch Ultra, FreeStyle Freedom and the Bayer contour.
